Nia Simmons is a R&B/Soul vocalist, songwriter, and international independent recording artist from the Washington DC metro area. She released her debut album "A Songbird's Journey" in 2015 which was considered for a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album and peaked at #13 on the UK Soul Chart. That same year Nia embarked on her first European tour performing dates in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Not only has she performed as a headliner at notable local venues such as Blues Alley (DC), Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club (Maryland) and the Carlyle Club (Virginia), but Nia has also been privileged to share the stage as a background supporting vocalist for internationally acclaimed artists such as Regina Belle, Howard Hewett, Bobby McFerrin, Me'lisa Morgan and Crystal Aiken. 2022 marks her return to the music scene with the release of her new single "Feeling Fine", a classy, mid-tempo lovers' groove. This songbird's silky, smooth vocals will catch your ear and move your spirit.
